There’s not much difference between the two. Visio is a cheap brand, and you’re going to get what you pay for. If you can afford a Sony Bravia, it will be worth paying a little bit extra for.

It really depends on what kind of money you are willing to spend. But I think a Dell would probably be your best bet. Inspiron 6000 is a good line, and as I have a widescreen laptop myself, I know how much more data it will show and how good DVDs look. The music and photos option on the page I will give you looks like an extremely good deal that will last for a good long time. However, if you are looking for something cheaper, the base system would work for you, but does not inlude anti-virus programs, smaller hard drive, and the warranty is only one year instead of two. Did you try WebEx? I have used that which works quite well. Besides it has VOIP (but they do charge a small fee). Try it out for free. Just check MAPS.

I think you may have confused terms or I have misunderstood your question..

Active desktop would be viewable by you,,if you could broadcast your desktop then it would be viewable by others.

There are a few programs that could do that .I haven’t had much luck with them..

to set items with active desktop you can have a webpage open and right click item to see if can be set as an active desktop item..

What I think you are asking is can you have people view you via your webcam,,

I have done it for over 2 weeks on my macbook..work perfectly OK for me on everything…except on window os, some function do not work properly. my mic and headphone had problems on win OS under bootcamp
